Rocky Mountain Industrial Hemp Summit, August 28, 2021 10am - 5pm

The first annual Rocky Mountain Industrial Hemp Summit is a regional gathering of like

minded individuals who are interested in promoting the growth and use of hemp in

American agriculture and industry.

This all day event will be hosted mainly outdoors on Fire Cloud Farm in Longmont,

Colorado. There will be food trucks, vendors from around the Rocky Mountain region,

live music, hemp themed events, and much more. Stay tuned for an updated schedule

of speakers and demonstrators.

Hempcrete Demonstration by Hemp Building Company

Talks by:

Come learn about the benefits and uses of hempcrete construction with Hemp Building

Company. In this hands-on workshop, we learn about the basics of hempcrete

construction through installing a hempcrete wall. We will be making our own binders,

mixing the hempcrete, casting the hempcrete into shuttered forms, and finish with a lime

plaster. We will also provide a lecture to give you a thorough understanding of the

science behind the materials and uses of hempcrete.
