Join us for a two-day hands-on workshop in Salida, Colorado, and become part of a community transforming the built environment with natural, sustainable materials.
In this workshop, you'll learn:
How to mix your own hemplime
Casting in situ hemplime
Building with hemplime blocks and mortar
lime and clay plastering techniques over hemplime
COST: $500 /$350 students/military
The class includes:
Lectures providing essential knowledge
Hands-on experience mixing and applying hemplime
A tour of an in-progress hemplime home and a finished hemplime home
New construction of hemplime block sauna house
You'll also get on-site training in casting hemplime and building a hemplime block sauna.
