Ray Kaderli: A Pathway to Production
I founded Hemp Build Network when I began my effort to build investment residential houses utilizing hemp. Five critical components are necessary for a successful construction project with hemp. Hemp Build Network is a network of professionals and resources that fill all five needs. I connect these resources for clients and for my own projects.
I’m intrigued by hemp because of the vast number of opportunities that are created at such a large scale. Business fortunes will be made, AND environmental stewardship will take place at a new higher level. My background is to cultivate opportunity. Hemp in construction is an amazing offering. What most interests me is a pathway to production. Building at scale enables the many benefits to mankind offered by hemp in construction to become real.
What was a win for your company in the past year?
Securing the right equipment and deploying that equipment into projects and educational workshops. Building key relationships in a team.
What is something about hemp building/construction/processing you didn’t know a year ago?
How many large-scale producers and processors have been quietly positioning an entry into the market behind the scenes.
What challenges does the hemp building industry face that it must overcome in the next five years?
Education of the marketplace is the biggest need over the next 1-2 years. As the story is told and more consumers want healthy sustainable construction, then the production will be ready to meet the demand. Fragmentation and confusion will exist, but clarity will come with familiarity.
