I love how rewarding hemp building is, and I do truly believe that hempcrete has a tremendous value that most people are not aware of that I think will have a very positive impact on the world.

What was a win for your company in the past year?  Overcoming weather-related breakdowns and getting back into production and a few successful hempcrete projects.

What is something about hemp building/construction/processing you didn’t know a year ago?  How relatively easy it is to build with hempcrete.  In a project we completed in Ashland, OR there were kids as young as 6 years old and elderly folks in their 80’s without any prior experience were able to help us with the hempcrete project as part of a workshop.

What challenges does the hemp building industry face that it must overcome in the next five years?  Architects do not know enough about this product and hempcrete construction which is a major market  barrier.  The other is the lack of industry and government standards.
