US Hemp Building Association members at the Members Online Event June 15 voted for the top Hemp House built in the past year.

Graduate students at Kansas State University constructed a small demonstration portable hemp structure that will be displayed around the state to show the industrial potential of building materials made of hemp.

We’d like to introduce you to three new hempcrete builds in Texas, Colorado and Michigan. All three projects began, or were completed, in 2022 and the builders/subcontractors are already starting new projects.

Kansas-based South Bend Industrial Hemp, one of the leading hemp processors and growers in the United States, will open their fields to the hemp curious and host tours and a building workshop in July.

Attendees at the U.S. Hemp Building Summit in Austin, Texas, last month got a sneak peek of some of the new products and services in the works in the hemp building and construction world for 2022.
